Where to get rid of tree limbs in Oklahoma City
If you trim or cut yourself, or a quote doesn't include hauling, these are the options for OKC residents.
1. Monthly bulky waste pickup
- OKC collects bulky waste, including tree limbs, once a month for city trash customers (OKC Bulky Waste).
- Limbs must be no longer than 10 feet; bagged yard waste is not accepted (OKC Bulky Waste).
2. Fertile Ground green waste drop-off
- 2228 S. Santa Fe Ave., Oklahoma City (Fertile Ground green waste)
- Accepts limbs up to 6 inches in diameter; the fee is based on the load (Fertile Ground green waste)
- Open March to November, Mon-Fri 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sat 8 a.m.-1 p.m. (Fertile Ground green waste)
3. After a major storm
The city sometimes runs special storm debris collection with its own rules; check OKC Storm Debris Collection before you stack branches at the curb. See also storm-damaged trees.
Suburbs
Edmond, Norman, Moore, Yukon and Mustang have their own rules; see the city pages linked below.
Or include hauling in the quote
For big trees, having the crew haul everything away is usually simpler. Ask for it in writing.
